Agree the outcome
We clarify the audience, the problem to solve, the content you already have and where the learning needs to run. We agree scope, price and milestones before the build starts.
Turn Word documents, PowerPoint decks, spreadsheets and text into editable learning courses. Shape each slide, apply your brand, add practice and publish to your LMS or the web.
Word (.docx), PowerPoint (.pptx), Excel (.xlsx), .csv, .txt and .md files, or pasted text. PDF files are not supported.
Before you add a file, you choose Preserve source structure or Build a course around it. Preserve source structure makes one slide for each slide or section, plus a start slide and a completion slide, and adds nothing else. Build a course around it adds learning outcomes, knowledge checks and a summary.
The app lists what comes across from each file type beside the file picker. Some source formatting, media and effects may need adjustment, so check the import report and test your course before you share it.
DropCourse Lab reads your source documents in your browser. Your draft is kept in that browser. External media and online interactions contact their providers.
A hosted review link is the only upload: it puts a read-only copy of the course on our server. Privacy details

Best on a desktop or laptop. DropCourse Lab is beta software, so parts of it will change.
A short overview animation of DropCourse Lab. It shows five moments from a workflow that has six steps. Import a PowerPoint file and the slides appear. Shape a slide on the canvas. Pick brand colours and the preview changes. Test the course as a learner. Publish a SCORM package.
DropCourse Lab is in beta. Some features may change or fail during beta. Save your work often, and keep your own copy of anything important. Tell us what you find with the Feedback button inside the app.
See everything DropCourse doesCustom eLearning, video and interactive experiences that turn complex content into clear, practical learning.

We focus on what learners need to understand, practise and do differently, not just on what needs to be covered.
eLearning, video, interactive media and job aids. We package each one for your LMS, the web or standalone use, with SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 or xAPI tracking that reports completion.
We adapt the language, pace, interaction and support to the people using the learning, not to a fixed template.
Bring in subject matter experts for technical review, scripts, scenarios and assessments. People lead the work and sign off the final content.
We bring learning design, software and web development, psychology and support-service experience into the same project. So the learning, the technology and the learner experience are designed together, not handed from one team to another.
Our instructional design experience turns complex information into clear, practical learning that people can put to use.
Our software and web development experience lets us build beyond the limits of standard authoring tools.
Our backgrounds in psychology and support services help us design for different needs, perspectives and levels of confidence.
A compliance course for a busy workforce should not feel like a Year 7 program. We design the content, language and interaction for the people who will use it.

Onboarding, compliance and capability training for people in fast-moving workplaces.

Learning and assessment resources for registered training organisations, mapped to your units, with clear evidence and documentation for quality and audit.

Digital programs for early years, primary and secondary students and educators, adapted for age and learning needs.

Accessible digital learning and digital literacy support for people who need more guidance or confidence.
From a single course to a complete program, we build digital learning around your people: the learning problem, the audience and where the learning will run.
Interactive courses designed for your content, audience and brand, and packaged for your LMS. We use established authoring tools where they fit, and custom development where you need more flexibility.
More about eLearning developmentThe plan behind the course. We run the training needs analysis, set the learning objectives, structure the program and decide how the learning will be measured.
More about instructional designA human-first course builder. Build your own course from Word, PowerPoint, Excel or text, then shape each slide, apply your brand and publish files you own, for your LMS or the web.
Build with DropCourseVideo, animation, audio and custom web interactions, used when they explain or show something better than a standard slide. We also build interactive stories, where the learner's choices shape what happens.
More about learning videoLearning that more people can understand and use, without a separate version. We build in plain language, flexible pacing and more than one way to take in each idea, plus digital literacy support for people new to technology.
More about accessible eLearningNot every topic needs a custom build. Ready-made courses can be adapted with light changes for your branding, policies and examples.
Ask about ready-made coursesWe prepare, upload and configure the courses we build inside the learning management system you already have, then check that completion and tracking report the way you expect. We have worked across many platforms, from Moodle and Canvas to Absorb, Cornerstone and SuccessFactors.
More about LMS course setupProfessional advice when you are thinking about setting up an LMS, instructional design, eLearning development, or hiring and onboarding people. We also help you set up best-practice processes for instructional design and work out your training needs.
Talk to us about adviceOur subject matter expert network can review technical content or contribute directly to scripts, scenarios and assessments. We agree specialist involvement up front and quote it as part of the project.
We can join a project at the idea stage or work from an existing brief. You work directly with the people designing and building the learning.

We clarify the audience, the problem to solve, the content you already have and where the learning needs to run. We agree scope, price and milestones before the build starts.

We map the learning and build an early sample, so you can review the content, interactions and visual direction before we build the full course.

We develop the content and interactions, work through your feedback and involve your subject experts where needed. People lead the design and review. AI may help with parts of the workflow, but it never makes the learning decisions.

We test on the agreed devices, check the accessibility requirements and the publishing format, fix any issues and hand over the final files and guidance.
